Select proper boot device

Hello,
Im having this same issue, except when i first turn the computer on, it gives me the error message. when i reboot and hit F10 to select boot device,it boots from C fine. Also when i first turn computer on to go to bios, it doesn't even see the C drive until i reboot. It has floppy drive listed in boot sequence also, even though there isn't even a floppy installed on this computer. I also went into BIOS and made C drive first, but when powered off and back on, it did not detect the hard drive again. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

perhaps try to update the latest version of BIOS for your motherboard? also, some spec would be nice, or at least the motherboard and the hard drive.

also, is this a new computer? or is this an old computer and only recently did this problem occur
