Hello
My friend had Windows 10 on an Intel system and now he wants to install Windows 11 on another hard drive but on an AMD system. So he wants to know can he select Windows on boot menu ?
For example, select Window 10 or Windows 11 for starting ?

Thank you

Yes. It would look like this:

By choosing appropriate entry in boot menu.
Boot menu gets displayed right before loading windows.
You can choose between windows versions to be loaded, if they both are installed on same computer.

BTW - I re-read your initial post and I'm not sure I understand it.

If you install windows 10 on Intel system and
install windows 11 on AMD system, then there's nothing to choose from.

On Intel system it will always be windows 10 and
on AMD system it will always will be windows 11.

He moved the Intel Win 10 tot he AMD system?
Or the AMD Win 11 to the Intel system?

Please clarify.

Either way, thats a bad idea.
