Selling and Crafting at the same time?

I've heard that you can buy craft tables (like a forge, loom, desk, etc.)
and put them in your room. Does this mean that you could sell and craft at
the same time?

Oh...one more thing. I know you can browse the merchant boards while you
sell, but it looks like you cant buy anything? This is probably by design
since I had this great idea of buying anything I was selling that was priced
lower than my price, then re-selling it at my higher price.

Yes. However, the quality of the tables/kegs/benches/etc depends on
the level of your guild (or society possibly?). The higher the level,
the better the max quality. At the lowest levels you cannot create
anything above the lowest quality (forgot the name, the first bar in
the recipe when you create it - exact opposite of
pristine/refreshing/delectable).

When you are set up as a merchant, you are a merchant and not a broker.
Viewing the market just gives you a chance to scope out the prices so
you can price your stuff competitively.

I found a list of all slash commands the other day (don't have it handy,
sorry). You can type or create a macro that says:

/show_window inventory.Bank (case sensitive I think) and
/show_window inventory.Merchant (might have that wrong)

The first will open your bank from ANYWHERE. You can't interact with it but
you can go through and see what you have. It doesn't appear to show coin
info (or I've been robbed!).

The second will open up the broker window anywhere. Again, no interaction
(can't buy), but dang it's nice to be able to browse the merchants while
you're off in Antonica doing your thing, trying to decide if you want to
sell to vendor, destroy, or sell to players some piece of loot you just got.
