Hi,
I am about to build new system. I decided to get following motherboard:
https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Enterprise/Server-Motherboard/MZ33-AR0-rev-1x
Then I need to get chassis including NVMe. I decided to go for:
https://www.supermicro.com/en/products/chassis/1u/116/sc116ac2-r706wb2
HD backplane from Supermicro's chassis contains 2x MiniSAS HD SFF-8643 connector.
Motherboard contains 7 x MCIO 8i connector.
I dont know anything about MCIO 8i, it seems like some new standard based on https://www.allion.com/tech_serv_series_08_genz_mcio/ it should be SFF-TA-1016 standard.
However I cant find SFF-TA-1016 to MiniSAS HD SFF-8643 cable. Does it even exists? Where to look? If there is none can there be any reduction?
