[SOLVED] Service Host: Windows Update Using a Lot of Power

Hi,
For a long time a programme called Service Host: Windows Update has been running in the background on my PC and using a lot of power. I can't close it because if I do so (in Task Manager) it says "Closing this will cause Windows to become unusable or shut down" or something along those lines.
My PC is old and it is using like 30% CPU, which is a lot.
What can I do with this?

Holy smokes, I turned off AVG antivirus like it said in the article and that background process stopped immediately. My PC no longer sounds like it's going to explode! Thanks a lot.
