Need both speed and data redundancy to protect client files. My question is what's the best combination of 6gbs SATA and 3gbs SATA connetors to set up the following. I do a lot of heavy Photoshop and video editing so I'd like the HD to be on 6gbs connectors because they will act as my scratch disk.
What I have to set up my system is a Asus P8Z68-V Pro/gen3, crucial 128gb SSD 6gbs, two WD 1tb green 6bgs HD and a blueray DVD burner. What I was thinking of doing was using the Asus 6gbs connectors for the SSD then 1 of the 3gbs connectors for the DVD burner. What I'd like advice on is should I use the 6 gbs Marvell connectors for the raid 1 mirrored HD's or should I get a new 6gbs card to plug them into or just use the 3gbs connectors.
