[SOLVED] Setting up dual monitor display

Hi! Wanted to hook up my VGA monitor as a secondary monitor with an VGA to HDMI converter to my motherboard because my main display is currently hooked up on my GPU but it can't detect the display. Do you guys have any solutions should I try? Here are my specs:

Ryzen 5 3600
ASRock B450 Steel Legend
TForce 3600mhz 2x8gb
GTX 1060 6 GB

Connect it to the gpu not the mobo. Also make sure you got the right adapter as they are directional. HDMI to VGA not VGA to HDMI.
