could someone guide me?
i have everything disabled except 128bit encryption. should i keep password protected sharing on or off? (like i wrote, i dont want anyone to be able to access my laptop via lan) (i dont have a password on my win7)

i think i did set it up correctly, but i would like to make sure i did it right, im not very knowledgeable about how to configure stuff. thanks:)

Solution
Turn off network discovery.

More importantly, put a secure password on your Windows 7 admin account.

And any other User accounts that you use on the laptop.

If someone finds or steals your laptop they will have full access to everything and all of your above (and other) efforts will be moot.

You can probably have two passwords: one for booting up (BIOS) and a second for Windows.
