When I boot up the my computer will have severe stutters every second or two are a bit less than half a second at a time making the computer unusable.
The only solution has been to let it boot and then do a hard restart as it won't shutdown or restart through the OS. The stutters will return once the computer has been following the next boot.
I think this mat have been caused by a windows update to 20h2
can anyone help me?
What I've tried:
2 clean installations on Windows 1, cant go back to a previous version of Windows 10 as I deleted my temporary files trying to fix it.
Specs
OS: windows 10
Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042
GPU: gtx 1080ti
CPU: r5 3600
MOBO: tomahawk b350
STORAGE: Samsung m.2 970 (OS drive), samsung 850evo ssd, Kingston ssd, 1 HDD
PSU: corsair 600w bronze
RAM: 16gb corsair 3000hz
Last updrage was about a year and a half ago and issues only start 6 months ago around the time I updated my version of Windows 10, so I'm inclined to think it was that But I'm not sure what to do about it.
