SF-666 Microphone Problems on Windows 8

I recently bought a Condenser Microphone SF-666 but when I plug it into my computer it does not show up under my microphones. Also, I have tried plugging it in to a audio adapter since my computer only has one audio jack. Please help me with this problem.

I bet your laptop has an AIO audio jack where the speaker output and mic input are all in one jack. You would need a separator for it, something like this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004SP0WAQ
