Um Hi I just would like to know if these temperatures are normal for sfm.
Cpu - I7 4790k, Gpu - Integrated , Cooler - stock variant
So this is the second forum i have joined so forgive me if i have skipped the introductions.

Solution
Installing an aftermarket cooler definitely will not void any warranty. In fact, it is highly recommended. Certain larger coolers like the 212 may in fact block RAM slots, although it's usually not a problem with ATX builds. Use pcpartpicker.com to check for compatibility. Single channel RAM is when you have a single stick of RAM. Dual channel is when you have two. More channels = higher speeds, although the difference is usually unnoticeable.
No you definitely should not be getting those temperatures. 70ºC at less than 20% load is not normal. At that load level with the stock cooler, you should be well below 50ºC, depending on ambient temperature. Is this your first time building a PC? If so, are you sure you mounted the stock cooler correctly? You have to push down all four pins until you hear a click, and then twist each of them 90º clockwise. You also need to have good airflow in order to have decent temperatures. Do you have any case fans? And what is the Vcore of your CPU idle and at 20% load? You can use CPU-Z to measure Vcore. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO STRESS TEST YOUR CPU. You'll only damage it unless your temperatures are back to normal.

Yes Its my first time but i had assembled by the individual who recommend me the parts.Yes the stock cooler is mounted properly. I Remounted it. I do not know the ambient temperature but i live in India [Pune]. Sorry for the late reply damnit got stuck on the tutorial now waiting for a reply on that anyways here is the screen shot.
Two fans. Front and back. I dont know about the turn them 90degrees it was not given if i turn them 90c i can usually open it.
http:// - Hw Monitor Vcore i am not sure if i got it right

http:// - Hw monitor cpu temperature
the current temperature in my city is 24C. Its like 1 in the morning.

Did you clean the heatsink and apply new thermal compound when you reseated the stock cooler? Your Vcore is way too high for 14% load. Try resetting your motherboard settings. What kind of a power supply are you using?

No i did not the tim on the cooler had not dried up infact it looked fresh. I do not know how to reset my motherboard settings but i will google that up. Antec 750watts true power

Okay when you reseat the heatsink you MUST reapply the thermal compound, no matter what. I believe not doing so is the cause of your high temperatures. Take off the heatsink, clean it with 75%+ isopropyl alcohol, and apply new thermal compound using the grain of rice method.

I don't know about that because i had the issue before checking right. Temp is the same. No difference but i decided to go for a custom cooler so i am looking for advices on that. I was suggested the Coolermaster 212x though i am open to suggestions from the members of the community

Well i am open to suggestions. and i got a couple more questions
Aftermarket cooler voids warranty?
Will the cooler block my ram slot?
And how to differentiate between dual and single channels on the motherboard

Um so i was playing torchlight i think i need some serious help with this temperature atleast until the cooler arrives
http://
I dont know why i am having this issue not to mention its gone as far as hit 82c

Sorry for the late reply. Well i had it placed but the thing is apparently that its touching my case window followed up with cooler master on that they said if possible they will replace it with a different cooler i just have to pay the difference. What is extremely stupid is that even though it states it compatible on the nzxt website. Its exactly 158mm and Nzxt supports 158mm thats why it touches or thats how it got explained to me atleast. Its a pity i did not look into it further i really should have pretty stupid of me despite getting warned by you. Anyways i think the temperature issue would be solved by the cooler i am grateful for the help provided. Checked sfm its around 50-52c. Just need to look for a alternative cooler now
