Shadowplay crashes PC

When ever I turn on Shadowplay, my PC just crashes, when I reboot my resolution goes off and it's like my driver just fails to load. I reinstalled the driver and the same problem persists.

I have a MSI GTX 970 and I have recently upgraded to a Gigabyte z97 gaming 5 motherboard with an i7 4770 CPU.

Playing games is totally fine, it's just shadowplay

Did you reinstall OS from a freshly formatted SSD / HD after upgrading MoB ?

What does Event Viewer say ?

yes I did and it was a blue screen

Did you also uninstall and reinstall GeForce Experience? I had issues with Shadow Play that were fixed after reinstalling it.

Understood, but what does event viewer say. You will oft find it records an error or warning when you BSOD. The Blue screen also includes a stop error code (i.e. 0x0000004a) which is key to identifying the problem.

If the drive(s) was(were) completely formatted as was just indicated, all programs would have to be re-installed.

The weird thing is that when I launch shadowplay, it's like it uninstalls my video driver. GeForce experience shortcut icon doesn't launch, when I reboot it stays like it so I have to reinstall my driver for it to work again.
