Question should hdd do inconsistent noises?

my hdd does normal spinning constant noise normally and sometimes it does sharp chirping noises when i write/read on it,i can hear it because the pc is about 30 cm away from my ear.
i already checked and its unlike any video about scratching or disk failure sounds.
so is it normal to do so?
