Should I buy an RX AMD card, or is it worth to wait the new Vega series?

Hello,

I have a Sapphire HD 6870 1GB. I want to replace it with a much younger hardware.
I play games such as: Dirt 4, D3, Witcher 3, Mass Effects, SC2, FC-Primal, Cities Skylines, and many more.

Witcher 3, and FC-Primal are run poorly but playable, ME Andromeda does not even starts on my current PC. I do not want to play on 144Hz 4K ultra. I want stable 40-60 FPS on 1080p 60Hz monitor, at medium settings. My budget is little low that is why I want an AMD. 170 USD is the maximum. Important thing is that the card consume little power, because I have a 430W bronze PSU.

My girlfriend have a GTX 1060 6GB, and I am not too impressed by the card performance for such pile of money. I understand that the "nVidia is the best", scores are space high, but I do not want to pay more for +10 FPS.

Which RX cards are the best buys?
GIGABYTE GV-RX560GAMING OC-4GD RX 560 4GB GDDR5 Gaming OC PCIE for example? Is it worth the money, or I should wait for the new Vega mid range products?

Solution
Those 2 are practically basic GPUs as far as games are concerned and Vega are top tier GPUs with appropriate price. Rx 560 are just about same as GTX 1050Ti so if you are not impressed with 1060 you need at least Rx 580 to top it.

You don't mention what your CPU and RAM are. These will also affect your gaming performance.

I've seen some good RX 580 deals lately (especially for the 4GB). But the 6GB 1060s are coming down too. Maybe crypto-mining is dead!
