Question Should I buy Core i7-2600 ?

Hello,
Right now I have

LIST 1

• CPU : Core 2 Duo e7600
• RAM : 4GB DDR2
• PSU : 120w
• MB : Foxconn G31

I planned to upgrade it, what I can buy now (used) :

LIST 2

• CPU : Core i7-2600
• RAM : 4GB DDR3 1333
• PSU : 300w
• MB : Gigabyte B75

So the guy I will LIST2 from, he gonna sell me those for 180$ and he said he will buy my parts (LIST1) for 25$ so the final price will be 155$.

So the question here is this a good price ? or I should go lower or what.

2600 is waaay better CPU and whole system but it's your money.

If this is basically your options and you are on a tight budget and want to improve your performance over your current setup then for $155 that's a good upgrade.
I would personally pay no more than $120 for that combination, but at the same time that seller has to eat so I think if you haggle for an even $150 that is fine.
