[SOLVED] Should I Buy The GTX 1660 Super or The RX 5600 XT?

So I recently decided that I wanted to go for an upgrade. I chose the GTX 1660 Super or The RX 5600 XT. I've heard that AMD cards tend to perform poorly for a lot of titles, is that true?
With this upgrade ill be playing more demanding games like COD Modern Warfare/Warzone and I want to know if there are any issues with the RX 5600 XT and which card should I buy?
CURRENT SPECS: GTX 1050 TI, i5-8400 2.8Ghz, 1080p 60Mhz Monitor, CPU COOLER: Arctic Freezer 13 CPU Cooler, MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte H370 HD3 LGA1151v2, Intel H370, DDR4, 2xPCI-E, VGA, DVI, HDMI.

5600XT performs similarly to a 2060, beats the 1660 Super by quite a bit. "AMD cards tend to perform poorly" is a dumb blanket statement, AMD produces cards for all sorts of performance and price ranges.
