So, I wanted to buy a laptop which can at least be able to play games for 4-5 years. Medium settings or even low if I can get 30 fps.
This one came to mind

ASUS ROG Strix G15 (2021) Advantage Edition Ryzen 9 Octa Core 5900HX - (16 GB/1 TB SSD/Windows 10 Home/12 GB Graphics/AMD Radeon RX 6800M) G513QY-HQ008TS Gaming Laptop (15.6 inch, Original Black, 2.50 kg, With MS Office)

Is this a decent laptop for the approximate price?
Can it serve me well for 4 to 5 years of gaming on low settings for 30 fps?
Is the battery life good enough for youtube and netflix?
Is it a trustworthy brand?
My budget is what this costs. I cand spend any more.

Also, can this be upgraded to Windows 11?

Given how the PS5 is using liquid metal, with an AMD chip, I doubt that is what is causing their laptops fried. Given that it is a new product, I would expect it to have Win 11 and TPM2 support. Win 10 is still good till 2025, so it's not a big deal, regardless.
That one should be plenty, for your desired time frame. AMD advantage labeled laptops have to meet strict requirements, set by AMD, to get said certification/label, so I wouldn't worry too much. Asus is a very well known brand, though their customer service is a bit lacking. I have an old 2nd gen i5 Asus laptop, that I still use for taking pictures off of my trail cameras. I haven't had any serious issues with the laptop, in the roughly 10yrs of ownership, that wasn't my fault.

But the GPU isn't Nvidia, should I be worried? Since it has DLSS.

some more choices for me

Is Nvidia rtx 370 100w better than 6800m ?
Is intel i7 better than Ryzen 5900hx ?

for general use and gaming.
I may use it for editing videos but I don't care about it much.

Thank you,

Nvidia appears better for DLSS and ray tracing. Do those things make a gigantic difference for games?
Some People on best buy are giving the Amd advantage edition laptop poor scores due to liquid metal with complaints that the laptop is getting fried in a week? IS this ok? Will this affect the long term usage of the laptop?
Also does the amd laptop support Windows 11? Does it have TPM 2?
