Question should i cap the fps at 60?

hi guys i just got a brand new asus dual oc gtx 1660ti and everything works fine except temperature which the gpu is reaching 80 under full load and im averaging 100-120 fps on modern titles on a 60Hz monitor. now i want know does that make a diffrence for me if i cap the fps at 60 from when im can get 100 fps?

Yes it will. Usage + temps of CPU and gpu will go down.

80c under full load is pretty normal.

80 is normal? damn i thought my gpu has become a nuclear bomb thats why i wanted to cap fps

80 c isnt bad. Could lower temps by adding case fans.
