I am thinking about building a PC for the first time, but I am having trouble picking the monitor I want to use. Now, in a PC all I do is gaming, and watch videos on youtube, sometimes watch a stream on Twitch or listen to music on spotify, so I decided to go for a TN panel with 144hz and a 1ms response time, but if you know of a cheap/budget IPS panel that also has a 1ms or 2ms response or even 3ms response time and a high refresh rate like, 100hz or 120hz, I would really like if you could advise me one, I do like having better color space and depth and better image quality, but since I mostly game on a PC I tought a TN would better suit my needs (this is the one I´m thinking of buying https://www.amazon.com/AOC-G2460PF-24-Inch-Professional-Monitor/dp/B01BV1XBEI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1510265883&sr=8-1&keywords=aoc+g2460pf&dpID=51F2dZxXwRL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch). But going back to my original dilema, the CPU and GPU I chose for the build I am planing on making is the i3 7100 with the EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SC, and with the research I did about 144hz monitors, is that you do need some horsepower to get the full benefits of 144hz, of course I did look at benchmarks, but I´m still very unsure. The reason I want a 144hz and 1ms response time is because of the smoother gameplay that it offers, since it does help with ghosting and motion blur, also because I do play quite often FPS games. So if anyone could give me some advice on this subject, I would be very grateful. Sorry for the HUGE text, if interested in all the parts of the build I´m planing on making https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Bernardo138/saved/#view=nxF4CJ if got any suggestions about the build to make it better, please feel free to tell me them.
