Question Should I keep my inferior graphic card in when I have better integrated graphics?

Currently I have a Nvidia GT 430 graphic card but I am planning to upgrade to an Intel 12100 with integrated graphics which should be way stronger than my current graphic card.

Should I even keep the graphic card then? From what I read the computer prioritizes the GPU for games and Integrated Graphics usual tasks but I'd want for it to be either the opposite or just let the processor do everything, is it configurable?
