So recently I ordered an rx 580 4gb for a very good price. I was looking to upgrade my gpu for a long time.

I was very excited about it and did some research on it , I wanted to know if my psu would be enough to handle it. Turns out it should be enough It has enough power. My psu is "segotep 500w atx-500wh". It's about 2 years old and I've never had a problem with it, but it's not a known brand it's chinese, and I'm worried it might cause some problems. I've read many articles that psu's can cause some damage and even fry gpu's.

My question is, should i try the gpu with this psu? Or must I buy a new, more trusted one? Can this one maybe damage my components? Any advice is appreciated.
My current rig is: i3 6100, msi h110m pro-d, gtx750ti 2GB
8 gb hyperx fury ram.

Segotep is definitely not a brand we could recommend. Replace it ASAP.
