Hello everyone, i am here to ask a question regarding my MB and if i should update my BIOS version or not. Here's a little context for you.

I've finally got my own PC last year (2021) around January-February and succesfully assembled all the parts in my case, and since then i've been running it without any single problem/error/malfunction. But i've been wondering if i should update the bios already, since last year i just decided to stick with the version that my MB came with because everything was running ok and with no problems whatsoever.

Regarding the BIOS version, i have this question because i've recently bought some DRAM (Corsair Vengeance LPX) in order to expand from 16GB to 32GB, and i noticed in the BIOS menu that the memory frequency was quite lower (2133 mhz) than the maximum value that the DRAM offers (3200 mhz), so now i've been searching for information about how to increase this value via XMP but it seems (i'm not sure) that i should update my BIOS version before using this feature in order to make it work correctly. (i'm also thinking about doing some overclocking in the future on my CPU and maybe the DRAM, in case that's valuable information)

So now i'm wondering, what BIOS version should i update to, or even if i should update the BIOS in the first place, because my system has been running flawlessly since i assembled the PC and i'm afraid that updating the BIOS version could affect the MB functionality and my PC's overall performance. Because i know that some BIOS versions are not recommended for certain situations but i'm not very sure about this.

And that's mainly my question, should i update my BIOS version at all? or can i stick with my current version and use XMP to increase my memory's frequency? I'll leave all the relevant specs and details below so anyone that can help me has a clear picture of the context in my situation. Thanks in advance to anyone that can offer his help, and sorry if my english is not good enough for you to understand my question correctly .

MB and BIOS version: Gigabyte A520M DS3H, Version F2
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600XT
DRAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200Mhz 8gb x2, Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200Mhz 16gb x1
Cooling: Noctua NH-D15, plus 3 front fans (came with the case) and a back Chasis fan (Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM version)

with mixed ram modules XMP mostly wont work
well..enable XMP and run memtest, if you get any errors, reduce ram clock

yeah that's what i've been reading about the XPM and rams, thanks for the information.
but what about the BIOS version? (ignoring the XPM thing, bc i'm feeling pretty well even with 2133 mhz of frecuency)
