Question Should i update my mobo for a new cpi?

Hi, i have an i3 4130, so i will update to i7 4790, my mobo is a H81m-k, so it is really necessary update my bios for install my new cpu.

And what are the bios update advantages?

If your current BIOS is 0703 or later, you are fine. The higher the number, the later the BIOS revision.

If your bios level supports a 4790, do nothing.
cpu-z will tell you what you have now.

Unless you are having some other issues that a bios update fixes, it is not recommended that you update just on speculation.
A failed bios flash can be nasty to recover from.

...I miss the days of the socketed BIOS chip. Just did one recently, and man was it nice.
