Should i upgrade form 2 GB 666 mhz to 4 GB 800mhz?

Should i upgrade form 2 GB 666 mhz to 4 GB 800mhz?
Right now i have 2 GB (manufacturer Good Ram 333 Mhz) , GPU HD5770 Hawk , CPU E7500(now its not Overclocked because this ram is quite unstable , i think if i change it , I will OC CPU to ~3.6GHz-3.7GHz. Resoulution :1920x1080 , Motherboard AsRock P5B PRO (it supports max DDR2 800 mhz for ram)
And another question ,if yes, which 4GB 800MHz ram shoud i better buy (my budget 120-160$)

Why not go with some 1066 ram, some 1066 ram kits cost the same, close or less than the 800 ram kits. The E7500 and your board has 1066 FSB support. 1066 ram is native 800 ram so you have nothing to lose. See price examples below. I'm running the KHX8500D2K2/4G 1066@1115MHz on my other board, don't mean you'll be able to do it on your board but it's decent ram.

Firstly, definitely get 4gigs.. Its almost the baseline standard nowadays.. Next, there's no point going for 1066 MHz or higher if you don't plan on overclocking.. More benefits will be evident with lower latency RAM's.. Among your mentioned products, i'd recommend either the

or the

I personally run the corsair model and they are excellent but i would recommend kingston anyday over the corsair..

The recommended for get the best performance in games and applications are 4GB. From ur options maybe I would go with 1st one.

Now, if u have a very good RAM with low price, take a look of thie Crucial

I've been running the KHX8500D2K2/4G sticks on my ASUS P5N-D about a year and a half now 1115MHz/2.3v and haven't had any problems, voltage or otherwise. The sticks can run at 1066MHz/2.2v which is the standard (2.1-2.2v) for DDR2 high performance ram. The sticks can also run at 800MHz/1.8v. The Op said he wants to get into some overclocking, these sticks would add a little headroom. See Tom's review.

Maybe u are right, but with the same price u can get the Crucial RAM that is much better manufacturer and quality and can OC until 1200 without problems (I know that for personal experience)

I didn't say anything before but I had a bad experience with Crucial ram a few years and a P5N32-E SLI Plus. But you know how these forums are, what works for one person might not work for the other. I run parts that might not be on the forum "A" list, but I continue to use them as I'm sure you do if the product has worked well in the past. Peace.

I've used Dominator in the past. I prefer Kingston but the Dominator ram is cool, choose the brand you want to use, not what somebody else wants you to use. My Socket775 ASUS P5N-D has similar specs as the ASRock P5B PRO, see specs blow. The Intel memory controller is better then the nVidia memory controller imo so you shouldn't have any problems if you buy mem that supports higher frequencies.
