[SOLVED] Should I wait until Intel's next-gen Rocket Lake Core I7 11000 series before buying the AMD Ryzen 5000?

Solution
Should I wait for Intel's new Core i7 11000 series before buying the AMD Ryzen 5000?
If you have Good CPU from 8 or 9 th generation, or From Ryzen 2000 or 3000 series CPU... Then I strongly recommend you to wait for Intel's 12th gen (not 11th gen) because 12th gen gonna be LGA 1700 socket and 10nm+++ Designe... And definitely more performance... And we will see more Future proof socket..

Same goes for AmD... Ryzen 5000 series is last Ryzen series will be on AM4 socket...

So wait for AM5 Socket ie. For AMD 6000 series CPU..

If you have poor CPU.. surely you can buy Ryzen 5000 series now... But that doesn't worth to wait for 11 th gen Intel...

Well. Don't you have to? Are they even in stock for you to buy? I just saw AOTS benchmark leaks for the 11900K. "leaks" it's much slower than the 5950X. If they're in stock I wouldn't tell you to wait, personally, you can't go wrong with either. But I really doubt the performance jump will be so huge that Intel makes an i5 better than a previous gen i9 while still at 14nm adding pluses to the end

Isn't LGA 1700 supposed to drop in 2022?

Should I wait for Intel's new Core i7 11000 series before buying the AMD Ryzen 5000?
It depends...

IF you already have a 10th-gen Intel CPU (and therefore a Z490 MoBo) the advantage of being able to "drop-in" a Rocket Lake CPU (assuming that will be the case) outweighs that of buying a new motherboard to take advantage of Zen 3 on (what is at this point) a "dead end" platform (unless you're already on AM4, in which case, wait for Zen 3 chips to become purchasable).

If you're going to have to buy a new MoBo no matter what, I'd wait another generation (beyond Rocket Lake/Zen 3), as you'll most likely be able to get a platform with at least some future compatibility on that socket.
