Very nice , love the layout...Sharp!

Thanks, my old one was starting to act up some keys sticking etc so it was getting harder to game on.

Not bad though, used it for 14 years, is vers 1.0A (PS2 connection), that's how old it is. LOL

So I figured I would get a nice one. :)

Bought Seasonic Focus+ 550 (80+ Platinum) [SSR-550PX], CableMod SE-Series full cable kit (green), CableMod MoBo I/O cables (green) and CableMod cable combs (transparent) for my AMD build.
cIlyxX2.jpg

New Seasonic PSU replaced my 3.5 years old Seasonic S12II-520 PSU out. Though, i feel sad to retire my trusty S12II-520 but new PSU offers newest tech in PSU world, a lot better efficiency and also modular cables, making the usage of CableMod custom sleeved power cables possible.

Before (left image) and after (right image). Oh, while cable colors seemed to be washed out, in reality, they are very vibrant and good looking. And i also don't mind the color mismatch between case and power cables since it was the closest i could get them.

Thanks! The motherboard BIOS was reporting 35'C - 97'F on normal load, I haven't tried to overclock the 2600 just yet.

More of a side-grade than an upgrade, but picked up a Strix 1070 to replace my 980TI.

Substantial power draw reduction, so my 550W G2 isn't pushed as hard.... and it's so, so quiet.
In-game, the 980TI sounded like a jet engine with 80+% fan speed to keep it at <83'C(1440p, 144Hz).... the Strix is barely audible, <50% fan speed and ~70'C

Latest - bought a 1TB Samsung 860 Evo and replaced the aging 1TB Samsung HD (which will now serve as a backup drive) and a Corsair Lighting Node Pro. I should get the Node later today and will post pictures when I get that hooked up.
