Shut down problem with SAPPHIRE TRI-X OC 100362-2SR Radeon R9 290 4GB

So I just recently purchased this GPU http:// Seem to be having one issue. When I stress test the card for about 5min it seems to heat up to around 75c. Then after a bit computer shuts down. Im wondering if all fans are working or not. It also doesn't ever up the fan speed when its on auto over 30 percent so I installed msi afterburner so it would increase fan speed correctly. Fan never goes to 100 percent and it shuts down. Wondering if this is an issue from a bios or not. Any input?


Another thing is im using 3 monitors 24inch with 2 dvi and 1 hdmi. Not using the DPI causing
problems as well?

Your psu is a very good one.
75c. is not an alarming temp.
Run with the case covers off and you should be able to verify that the fans are working.

Looking at the newegg link you provided, about 25% of verified owners are reporting blackscreen problems, even after a RMA.
I would return the unit if I could.

I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something on my end first that I messed up. Just weird how it shut down the computer after only hitting around the 75c temp not using max fan speed. It ran games fine in eyefinity getting 50+fps without shut down problems. But once the stress test boots up I think I tried it about 3x's and all 3x's it shut down around 5-10min into it.
