Question Shutting down from overheating but reading normal temperatures

I have a ryzen 5 5600g with stock cooling. It's not the greatest cooling solution in the world but it's worked fine for the last two years. For the last couple days though, my computer will be working like normal for hours and then suddenly the CPU fan starts spinning really fast and then the computer shuts down and says it was a thermal event. I've kept NZXT cam open to watch the temperatures to see if they spike but they don't even seem to go up when this happens, it's sitting at around 50-60c. I had changed the XMP profile in the bios so my RAM would run at 3600MT right before this started happening, but I undid this change and even reset my bios to default settings and it's still doing this.

Have you checked to see if the cooler is still firmly screwed down?

Is it this version?
