sick of all the CPU temp threads

ok, a noob i many be, but im already sick of all the "is my CPU temp ok" etc threads, perchance could we make a list of suitable CPU temps, so people dont have to keep on askin the same questions over and over?

i kno that AMD chips supposidly can go as high as 85deg C (?)...so thats a start, what about Intel?

AMD chips go above 85C? I would be very worried if my chip was aty 85c, I was under the impression that the chip would shutdown way before it got to those kinda temps.

AMD state they can go so high, obviously noone wants to run ther CPU at such a stupid temp

anything above 60deg C for AMD should be considered high imo

btw, ive stopped my pump on my wateer cooler, and let the CPU temp rise to 77deg C, and my chip was / still is fine. More heat = shorter life span tho...i believe.

What are the recommended Intel temps? im sure some one knows...
