That crap stinks. I know someone that just had to stick the end of his finger in a bottle of that stuff. Curiosity is dangerous in the wrong hands.

Someone has pointed out in a PM that I have missed your sarcasm in that last reply. I have had a tendency in the past to react to quickly to replys only to find out later that I had blown it out of proportion. I have just read your comment again. It looks to me that you were being serious however now im not sure. Dont take this as me trying to get something started between us. If you were being sarcastic then I owe you and apology. If you were being serious then we can leave it where it is.

I apologize to you mozzartusm. I was joking/being sarcastic. I was attempting to ironically point out to those who may actually believe you were faking that the work you would have had to put into pulling that fake here would not have been worth the result. I.e. taking a year to make all those posts and getting your rig OCed to 5 GHz.

I should have put [sarcasm] around the post. I will edit it as such.

Again, I am sorry for letting you think I was insulting you.

So I guess you could say that instead of a wife I have a really fast system The determination has been the hard part. [/No fun intended]
And having a wife is supposed to make things "soft"? bahahh! Ive been reading alot lately about what men feel marriage is like, and "hard" is definately one of them 😛

Btw I was kidding too. Your rig is 10x leeter than mine.

Work sucks.

Meh. Don't worry about whether people beleive you or not. As you may have noticed, several numbers that Sanrda uses are approximated. So it's no wonder you're over 100% efficiency. It is by defenition less than perfect math to begin with. They are sweet scores though and a wiz accomplishment. :)

As for faking a Sandra screen shot, if I get bored tonight I may do one just for a narf. :) I might even use only Windows Paint, just to make it slightly challenging. GIMP / PSP / Photoshop would be overkill to do this. :O

Im the one that needs to apologize. This unfortunately isnt the first time that I have done this. If there is anything positive about it I guess it would be that I wasnt nearly as irate this time as I was back in Dec. when I blasted Starfishy for something he didnt even do. Regardless, I need to get the chip off my shoulder and stop jumping to conclusions. Beleive it or not, I actually dont mind sarcasm as I myself am one of the biggest SMARTAS5es that I know. P4Man pointed out to me that I had over reacted and I even took a shot at him. Dont let this effect you and especially your posting here in the forum. I would rather leave than be the cause of someone descent leaving.

Peace, and I apologize to everyone!

 Im gearing up as we speak. I think that im going to run some PC Mark04 memory scroes and Everest estimates. Oh, and I will also hit Aquamark a couple of times. Is there any particular settings in AquaMark that I should change?

BTW, I hate PC Mark04 simply because it is weighted so heavy towards Intel rigs. Something has got to be bogus about the test suite. AMD's just cant compete in that benchmark so that makes me think that it is severely flawed.

Yep, I did.

are you kidding us now ? After being pointed to it, and rereading the post, you still considered the possibility someone would seriously claim you spent 2200 posts here just to pull of a cheap photoshop stunt ? Or that this would be a psychological test of some kind ?

ROFL, mozza, go outside, get some fresh air.. breath.. relax.. zen & all that.. I hear fishing does wonders (*). I'm serious. And yes, I read your reply/apology, but my dear fellow poster,.. if you allow me tell you so: you are not thinking straight. Your system consists just of some silly overpriced melted sand that will be worthless rubbish in just a few years, and all of us here are just a bunch of anonymous nolifers who's opinion means diddely squat.

(*) then again, maybe not a good idea; believe it or not, among die hard fisher freaks (some of my friends are), I've seen similar pissing contests about who caught the biggest tuna (name ? a fish), with similar "impossible" and "you are lying" claims, almost up to the point of accusing picture of being faked. Maybe that helps put things in perspective ? Just enjoy the tuna, share the pics, and put up your middle finger to whomever doesnt believe it. As I PMed you, disbelief if often the greatest compliment you can get.

Do you have lakes nearby where you live ?

😉

Alrighty. Here's a faked screenshot from the Silver Phoenix Group. I didn't watermark it, but I did pretty much everything else possible to make it obvious that it's a fake. :O

And all with MS Paint. :) I think it's for this reason alone that I believe you. I mean if it's this easy to fake, then it takes guts to post something like that.

I think a butterfly flapped it's wings somewhere in Africa..

which caused it to snow in January outside of MOZZs bedroom window...

causing temperatures to drastically drop in his area...

which ultimately gave him the idea to burry his entire system in the snow while running those tests.

I don't think it's photoshopped or painted....I think it's buggy. No doubt you're GETTING those scores, but they're wrong.

Maxtor disgraces the six letters that make Matrox.

Just for the sake of it, you could try to test this with Prime95, which has a good torture test. It will even check for processing errors, which can occur with highly overclocked processors.

Also, if your numbers are correct, you could also try and benchmark your rig. Against typical Prime95 scores, your system should kick ass. You should complete a 2048K FFT-size iteration in 40ms, a pathetically small time...

...if this is all true.

I'm pretty sure that someone inside intel someday thought that we'd be seeing 5Ghz P4s by mid-2005....

Looked good to me, I guess that would explain people being wary.

Ok, I have now run some benchmarks in other programs and am still getting very high scores. Could someone give me some sort of reference number to go by in the mem test in PC Mark04, only the memory test. I ran them at default. Everest has returned 11986 MB/S, I have only ran it once and I do have the screen shot. Just prior to running that program I ran a Sandra bench of 10895MBs/11126MBs. Thats 2 programs within a few minutes of each other returning close to the same numbers. The HD is new and only has the essentials loaded. I have repeated the test on 3 other HDs today and still the same results.

Please anyone, run the PC Mark 04 mem test by itself so I will have a comparison.
