ALright i have taken all your data to my personal experts ansd we have run a couple tests on your pictures and your statements and i am sorry to inform you that you haven't faked anything and you are over thinking everything and being fairly paranoid.

If others think its fake....does that change wether it is fake? no. If others think it is real, does that change if it is real or not? no. Other opinion doesn't change facts.

Personally i think you should go on a killing spree and try to get one person from every state before you get caught.

LMAO! This was a good time for some humor. Man its tough over at Extreme OC. Im going to run one more batch of scores and try my best to shut the comp down and chill. I hadnt considered going postal, but driving off a cliff at a high rate of speed has been running through my mind 😱

Update! Yesterday afternoon I stuck one end of a pair of scissors all the way to the bone on the inside of my hand. Ive got pics if anyone wants to see them  I knew that someone would start yelling BS when I didn post again last night so I took a pic with the blade coming out and guess what, the first reply I see over at Extreme was "Im calling BS, hes got a world record and he hasnt even posted again." The reply was about 15 mins after my last one. I cant even feel most of the inside of my hand and the part I can feel hurts like hell. This Yahoo is screaming BS, BS, BS! I replied and told him World record or not I have been sitting on this since Jan and didnt plan on getting in too big of a rush at this point.

Heres what some people keep telling me to do. There is a world record forum over at XtremeSystems. They are telling me to post the pics there because they have some way of being able to tell if they are fake. OK, thats fine with me but im a little hesitant simply because I dont know them and they damn sure dont know me. What do yall think? Post the screen shots and let Xtreme sort it out?

Of course post them.. and let them call it a fake if they want to, I'm really curious about their "secret methodology" LOL. considering the screenie is just a bunch of pixels, all they could do is validate the numbers/math or catch you if you are a truly bad imposterer and the numbers are out of place, wrong font or whatever 😉

You saw that movie "The Butterfly effect" didnt you? I didnt sleep for a week after that one.

I wish i could throw my comp outside into a pile of snow. It hit 90 degrees yesterday and the humdity was high enough that you could scoop it up with a spoon.

I am also curious about the way they do this. That was one of the things that made me think twice about it. Im not holding my mouth just right or something. Ive registered but havent been able to post anything yet. Banned before my first post?

oh, and just maybe the headers would tell you if you used photoshop ? Of course, there could be valid reasons to use PS, to crop, resize whatever, but I'd be suspicious of a PS created bmp.

They won't analyze the screen captures or anything, all they do is know what a system is capable of doing. His is NOT CAPABLE OF GIVING THOSE NUMBERS....they'll say that. In fact, the only system that CAN do that is an Opteron system with NUMA enabled. I read their forums just as much as I do this one (I just don't post at either much anymore) and they never do anything special with other people's screenshots, they just understand what systems are capable of doing VERY well.

They'll probably chew him apart for using a windows pause like I did at first, realize that he doesn't know what it is and then declare bugginess of some sort. They'll ask for SPI 1M times probably, maybe 01 scores, and that's about it.

So...
Are we going to get some proof of your scores??

I don't understand why you are hesitant to show all your scores.

Would it be easy for someone to steal your record?

Okay, I am getting slightly intruiged here, even though I tend to care about extreme overclocking about as little as I do about tuna fishing.. But since tuna fishing is big fun, so lets see..

I'm a noob here, so help me out. What is exactly is not possible ?

*) I see mozart has screenies that seem to indicate a 347 Mhz memory clock. Are you saying that is impossible (honest question, I really dont know) ? Isn't that only slightly better than what DDR2 667 should reach anyhow ?

*) Assuming that is possible, do you think the 4/4/4/12 latency settings are impossible (at that frequency ?) Again, honest question. If you tell me 1/1/1/3 is possible I'll believe you, cause I don't know this stuff

*) Assuming both clockspeed and latency are plausable for a pair of highend DDR2 modules, do his results match with what you could expect ? If not, I'd appreciate some examples or comparable overclocks and their score, so we could look close what exactly is not likely or possible.

BTW, I noticed his first screenshot has a few comparison numbers, some of which are even higher...so how impossible would Mozarts scores be then ?

For the record, I really don't have an opinion on this; true or not true, significant or not.. .? The only opinion that I *do* have, is that *IF* mozart would go through all this trouble and is just lying through his teeth, well, I can only feel terribly sorry for him. Even more than I already do for someone that is kept up at night because of some almost meling molten sand benchmark results and the opinion on it of people he never met and most likely never will meet. And much more than for someone that is so stressed that he just managed to stick a pair of siccors through his hand 😉

His memory clocks and timings are perfectly reasonable and very ordinary. His score is well above the world record....seem a little odd to you? 9k in Sandra, confirmed as a bug. There are a few other numbers thrown around in there, one with 3-2-2-5 and DDR2-711, getting 6700. Mozart is at 11k with 4-4-4-12 and DDR2-714. Also there is the issue of >100% efficiency, which is discussed in that thread.

The program is bugged, plain and simple. His numbers are false. Nevertheless, he didn't cheat and I never said he did--I know he wouldn't. But before giving him a whole bunch of kudos, realize that the numbers he is getting simply aren't the truth.

Was that bug also present with the current sandra version? Have you seen the numbers from the Everest shot that I took? I have reproduced similar results in three different programs now. It would be nice if Fredi would set it up so that we could post things such as screen shots.

Im hitting mem clocks much higher than that, up in the 370 to 390 range.

People at XS are getting the same 'bug' in all windows bandwidth programs. Some are, some aren't, however. All I can say is that your bandwidth is not actually that monstrous. It's a shame you can't get an actual reading....

I dont know what the answer would be. Seems like everyone has in effect thrown their hands in the air and given up. Ive been working on graphing out my results. Im not even close to finishing the graph but so far the graph looks ok to me. I was under the impression that the graph would have been skewed heavily if something buggy was occuring at certain freq's

OKay, before we take this any further, can you clearify which screenshots/sandra scores we are discussing here ? Because I didn't see 370-390, but I could have looked in the wrong place.

Secondly, if, as Vapor claimed indeed both your clocks and latency settings are not out of the ordinary (among extreme overclockers that is), than neither will your actual bandwith . So if Sandra reports anything else, as per Vapors link, its clear we are chearing/arguing over a Sandra bug. Do any of your other benchmarks produce any extraordinary results ? Are there other bandwith measurement programs ?

Ive got pics posted in 3 different locations. Thats probably where the confusion is coming from. Im going to try to get something a little more organized on my website. Ill post a link shortly. I have returned high speeds in 3 different programs not just Sandra. As for ORDINARY, as new as DDR2 is im not so sure that ordinary is a good word to use at this point. There are other variables that we havent even began to talk about. The new platforms with DDR2 and PCIexpress have some very different variables that factor into the equation.
