i have bought the silverstone sst-st60f-p PSU.. initially i wanted to buy xigmatek nrp-pc702 rated at 700w because it is cheaper.. out of curiosity i bought this silverstone unit on impulse and now im worried whether my new system will be ok with this psu.. for the record, my last system is not stable eventhough i am using 550w ( cooler master extreme power plus 550w ).
my old system
intel p2d e5200@3.3ghz
4gb ddr2 ram
ati 4870
5 JBOD harddisks
6 120mm case fans ( 2 for cpu )
cm gemin11 cooler ( topdown cpu cooler )
dvdrw drive
and the system is not stable enough.. it frequently just BSOD n my hard disks keep disconnected when ever i plugs new USB devices.
this is my new system i have just bought
i5 2500k
asus p8z68-v lx
4gb ddr3 1333mhz
my old 4870* will replace when there are demanding games.. i game at 1600x900
cm hyper 212 evo cooler.
so do my new PSU (silverstone) is better than the old one ( cm 550w extreme pwrplus )?
or xigmatek nrp-pc702 ( 700w ) is better? or cooler master gx 750w better? (both of them falls in my psu budget)
im quite worried because my new psu is only rated 600w and i dont know alot about psu..
