Hello!
I will do racing with VR, but some or often via Monitor.
Thinking of a cheap curved (34"?) with the option to use 3 of them later on.
Must have a VESA mounting to get directly mounted to the rig.
I do not know what specs I have to look for.
Hopefully you can tell me what are the spec I have to look at.

You can start here,
pcpp: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/m...0100&sort=price&page=1&F=862076000,1651000000

Filter the results from the left side. I already included: curvature, size (34" and up), VESA 75x75, 100x100 and ordered by price.

I do not know what specs I have to look for.
For other criteria, here's an example of my own criteria, for good monitor to my build (1080p);

Size: 24", 27" or 32" (1080p does well on 24" and 27", 1440p does well with 27" and 32")
Ultrawide: No
Refresh rate: 144 Hz (or up)
Response time: 1ms
contrast ratio: min 3000:1
TN, IPS or VA panel: VA
Color Gamut: never considered that
Curvature: 1500R or less
VESA mount: Yes. Preferably 100mm and 120mm all in one
Input port: Display Port
HDR: I don't mind it
Internal speakers: Don't need them
How many USB ports: Don't use monitor USB ports, so, i don't care
Headphone out: Don't use that either
G-Sync: Neat thing if you have Nvidia GPU but increases monitor price considerably
Price: If it's good, i'm willing to pay premium price
Brand: MSI, Asus

Note: These above are my personal preferences and may not align or even match yours. Take them as a guideline to look for a monitor.

Since you didn't list your specs but state it will be VR capable I'll assume you have a decent GPU that will output high frames.

At a minimum 120hz (usually they are sold at 144hz which is what you want) and 1440p minimum, don't go 1080, it will look terrible.

Or find a cheap large TV. I race on an LG C1 65" 120hz TV (not cheap) and is amazingly immersive to me.

I have 3x 27" 1080p 240hz Curved monitors on my sim rig for a total of 5760x1080. I get around 100fps in ACC and around 50 fps in AC EVO which is unoptimized.

Aligning curved monitors on a sim rig is a huge PITA. I have mine sort of lined up but its not perfect, I wish I would have gotten flat monitors but its too late.

@Rogue Leader interesting, could you pls detail your problems , differences to flat and curved. THX!

My problem mainly is for curved screens to really work in this environment the screen mounts on a Sim Racing cockpit would need to set the side screens back about an inch relative to the main screen (or space the main screen forward an inch or so)so without that they don't exactly line up very well. Sorry I don't have a picture but in person you would see it, its just a little weird.
