Hi guys,
Has anyone benchmarked XFX's new single-slot 5770 with Crysis yet? I have a dual-slot XFX 4890 right now that can run Crysis maxed at ~37 fps. I was hoping this card could produce the same (or better) results? A Google search came up short.

Thanks!

the obvious question would be why are you wanting to go from a double slot card to a songle slot card... btu here's a good review of the xfx single slot

seems abotu on par with an average 5770 but i swouldn't overclock it >_<

5770 is in the same tier as a 4890 so really its probably gonna preform more or less the same ... but with dx11 , if your 4890 works though you should be abel to get some money for it any maybe up what card you can get above a 5770 for an upgrade? up to you but seems like a sidegrade to me

Thanks guys. I am thinking of a single slot because I want to use a PCI slot my current one is covering up to put Firewire slots in for audio editing, simple as that. It would be awesome if I could play crysis on full with the same performance. Seeing raw benchmark data would make me happiest but it sounds like they are pretty close. I already got a buyer lined up for my old card if I get rid of it. Thanks again!

is it a pci-1? cause if its a full size pci card i wouldn't put it under that gpu, you'll fry it pretty quick. part of the issue is as a single slot card it has no access to fresh cool air, if you but a card up underneath it right in front of the fan it'll resrict airflow by alot

Really? Darn, ok. Well maybe I'll just hang on to my card then. It would be right in front of the fan.

here's a neat part to use your ide for somethign useful, gived you firewire through ide

also if you cna go without your network connection while you use your firewire here's an option

if you have the headers on you mobo plus a spare 3.5 slot this woudl be a good option as well

*edit* forgot link

Hm, well it's a bummer I can't do that. So then what is the point of a single slot anyway?? lol

Well thanks for your input and thanks goofy for the other option, unfortunately none of those options really work for me, I will just upgrade my motherboard/case in the future.
