Size dimensions of mother board screws?

Quick question: what size are the screws that screw into the standoffs that secure the motherboard? I bought a new board but it was an open box. Didn't come with an I/O shield, standoffs, or screws. I have extra standoffs but no screws. I'm assuming all boards use the same screws. The ones for my last Gigabyte board were hex-head and black. This new board is a Giagbyte as well.

The case will have the Screws \ Standoffs.

They won't come with the board.

Those are not the right screws (those are made for PCI Expansion cards mounting a power supply ETC. If you use those to screw down a motherboard into it's standoff's you will end up stripping the standoff.

All systems use the same screws.

But as SR-71 said the screws to the standoff's are included with cases. (I admit it is easy to misplace those small bags)

I'll check to see if I have any screws that came with my case. If not I'll get those ones from Amazon.

Do they go between the screw and board or between the board and standoff?
