Hello, I'm looking into purchasing a skylake system that will be used for editing videos on a daily basis, producing 3d art, and recording/Livestreaming games at 1080p and 60fps.
I'm not sure what would be the best stuff for it at this price range. By budget is 1.2k without the os because I already have it.

Solution
Here's a top performing system. Add SSD when you get some extra money.

Solution

Problem is I can't wait as much as I want to. My current pc is nearing its end, and its not even a pc, its a laptop. And its not cutting it anymore, so I need this new pc asap.

Yes, but there is always something just over the horizon:

Titanium rated power supplies in the 500 to 850 W range

Kaby Lake Intel processors followed by 10nm Cannon Lake ones.

AMD's Zen processors with 40% more cycles per clock

Finfet GPU's from both sides

Ever cheaper and better SSD's

Ever cheaper and larger HDD's.

Better/cheaper RAM

etc. etc. etc.

I'm not getting my computer until the end of november, so if anything comes before then I might get that, but for now I just need something that is going to work for at least 2/3 years. Because there really isn't much you can do with a bad laptop now adays.
