SLI 1070ti instead of 1070?

I'm looking to buy the Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming K6 for my first pc build and according to Asrock – on their website: https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/Fatal1ty%20Z270%20Gaming%20K6/index.asp#Overview – the motherboard includes an SLI HB Bridge which is compatible with the NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 1080 and 1070 graphics cards.

Which leads me to my question: Would this motherboard be compatible with 1070ti's or 1080 ti's as well even though it's not specified? If not, why would it not be compatible with the other GPUs?

SLI Bridges are not card specific in that context. So, it will not be a problem pairing the 1070ti/1080ti.
