To see what programs are starting with Windows, do this:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information. In
the left hand pane, click on Software Environment and then click on Startup
Programs. In the right hand pane you will see the programs that start with
Windows. Every program that starts with Windows adds to your startup time
You need to be 100% certain that your system is free of viruses and spyware.

A word about spyware: It can be very difficult to detect and remove spyware.
Usually, you need more than one spyware detector/remover to be reasonably
sure your computer is spyware-free.
