Question Slow browser download speed only on windows.

Hello,
I have a problem with slow browser download speed. I tried to change browsers, but the speeds were the same, so i switched to linux on virtualbox and download speed went from 1 mb/s on windows to 5 mb/s on linux. Anyone know what can cause a problem on windows and how to fix that?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Modem, router: make and model information?

Network connectivity: wired or wireless?

Launch Windows. Run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt.

Post the results.

My thought is that the network adapter drivers may be old and/or corrupted. Or simply misconfigured.

Also good to know:

• Are your virtualbox OS set up with a different IP address.
• Did that problem occur AFTER you set up this virtualbox ?
• Or : did you make any changes just before you noticed this issue?
• Have you tested your browsers up against some online speed test (like speedtest.net) ?
  • What result ?
  • What result you get when making the same test from a browser in the virtualbox OS ?

Sorry for the problem, but I think I fixed it. I uninstalled network card and rebooted pc so it can install again and download speeds are good now.
