Slow Download Speed

Tonight, I was downloading the trial client for Eve Online and I noticed that my computer was downloading it at 1/mbps or 2/mbps. I am connected directly to my modem via Ethernet cord. My ISP, Time Warner, provides me with 50mbps download and 5mbps upload. And lastly, this was being downloaded to a SSD. Also, I just tested my download and upload speed at speedtest.net and it verified that I'm getting my promised internet speed. I don't think this is normal because I downloaded another game at almost 20mbps. Any suggestions?
