For 12 days the internet connection in my household has been extremely slow. Web pages take much longer to load up, it is now impossible to stream videos on youtube and watch them at the same time, and when I'm gaming I get a ping of well over 1000 ms. The same applies to all the computers (and the PS3) in the house, whether they are wired or wireless. I am using a Belkin 54G wireless router.
Before this problem started, everyone in the household could connect to the internet perfectly fine, download things at 400kbps, watch videos on youtube etc, even if we were all online.
The router has always suffered from intermittent connection drops, but it has never been this slow for such a long period of time. I ran a scan of my computer using AVG but nothing came up, and since everybody is getting slow speeds, I am assuming that the problem is with the router or the ISP.
Why is my connection so slow? how can I restore it? Thankyou in advance.
