Slow internet on new build

Hi, i just built my first gaming pc Cheers! but the internet is just soooo slow and im trying to download the drivers and nope it takes 10 hours for god knows why

Do you have another system where you can check internet speed? Are you using wifi or ethernet? Do you have the install disk that came with the new mobo? It will have the driver for the mobo's ethernet.
