I just realized while watching the video back, that without having a live stream in the background, on my side monitor it happens a lot less often.
but why is that? I don't understand why

Posted how it looks while playing. It's not just CS it's in almost every game i play. Not too sure when it started, maybe about a month ago. tried buying new ram.. not sure why i thought that would fix it, think i just wanted to buy some anyway. I am currently buying a new psu. I don't know maybe it's a power thing? Sometimes my keyboard, mouse, headphones etc. will cut out. and sometimes it full on disconnects from the computer all together, it'll make the windows jingle. So maybe i bought the psu for nothing... and it's a mother board issue maybe affecting power output or just not working someway somehow idk.

my temps are good.

I've done loads of tests, and attempted solutions such as:

  • DDU clean booted properly
  • Driver easy installed all outdated drivers to new ones.
  • changed some mem clock speeds,
  • factory reset the PC.
  • updated bios
  • all the different file changes like that presence thing
and more.

Maybe I'm onto something and have to 50/50 the psu vs motherboard or just buy both I don't mind but it's bugging me a bit.

PC specs:
Motherboard - BIOSTAR B550mh 6.1
CPU - ryzen 9 5900x
GPU - AMD radeon rx 6650 xt mech oc
RAM - silicon power 3200mhs 32gb (2x16)
PSU - some 500w one idk but it's a named brand i think
fans and cpu cooling

If only you could verify the PSU brand. A good quality 500W PSU is what AMD recommends, but since the branding isn't provided, I cant say for sure the PSU is clear.

Anyhow, there's a much higher chance of it being the PSU, and not the motherboard.
If you do end up buying one, go with a reputable branded unit, that has a bit higher wattage rating for some headroom as well.

Thermaltake Toughpower GX3 850W 80Plus Gold SLI/Crossfire Ready ATX 3.0 Power Supply; PCIe5 12VHPWR Connector Included; 5 Year Warranty; PS-TPD-0850NNFAGU-3 on amazon is the one i bought.

I can totally check though the psu now I'm just blanking on the name.
it's a thermal take smart series 500w lol

Yea, that's not that reliable. As I thought, the PSU is probably the culprit. especially considering its old, and worse...used.

The one you're gonna buy is gonna be ok for the system, and should fix the issues without needing more replacement components.
