I have already reinstalled wow. + reinstall the whole pc today. The issue persists sadly. I just did a ddu removal on both nvidia and amd now. So currently installing the drivers for my rx 6800xt. However the amd settings are on default. Beside the undervolting.
Yeah, that's really weird because I have an RX 6800 XT myself (OG ATi Reference Model #5458372800) and I don't think that I've ever even come close to tapping out the frame buffer. Now, to be fair, I've never played WoW (the last thing I need is to get addicted to another MMORPG.. LOL) so I don't know about it.

There was someone asking this question on the Blizzard Forums in December of 2022 so maybe it's related to your problem:
Does anyone have a solution or fix for this VRAM leak?

I can't read it on my work PC but it might be worth a look.

Hey! Again. Just woke up... However. MSI afterburner is showing max 6,8gb memory usage. So i think hwinfo might be bugged.

Holy cow... Is your PC haunted or something? I've never seen such a drastic change from just doing that. If my PC did that, I'd want to make sure that I hadn't entered...

But hey, if it's fixed, it's fixed. Good enough! 😊👍

Hello, sorry for spamming but is this memory 23,9 same as the one in hwinfo?

I think a lot has to do with electricity overall. Our electricity in this apartment is pretty whack haha. I've had mouse delay since 2019 and i got shocked by fixing it in a lan party at my friends house.

Apparently there are some information according to amd gpus that hwinfo is showing wrong usages and so on.
yes, it should be same as in hwinfo
vram usage looks fine

GPU ram is 24GB on your PC, that is 16GB dedicated GPU vram + half of your system RAM (8GB)
this 8GB buffer is used mostly for garbage collection (old unused data which can be reused later on demand), but if VRAM gets full or close to it (as some games may use about 80% of VRAM and keep some reserve for background apps), then system ram gets utilised aswell

Also most people saying, no that's not possible blah blah blah. I understand that it's a weird issue. But i know it's electricity or bad grounding now which is relieving. It's hard to believe that when i'm saying it. But it's possible. There are a lot of people with the same problem however.
