Slow SSD benchmark

Hey guys,

I have just bought a new PC which included an SSD HDD, I have been having problems with loading music, documents and basic tasks on the PC and has been running slow, I did a benchmark for it and these are my results.

The SSD is approx 1/2 the speed of my standard HDD. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I should do?
I have done a quick search but couldn't find much.

The specs for your drive are "up to" 170MB/s Read and 100MB/s Write.
I believe this is a 1st generation or 2nd generation SSD.
Go into the motherboard BIOS and verify that the port the drive is connected to is in AHCI mode.
That's probably all you can do to increase performance.
