Question Slow SSD Write speed

I have a brand new samsung ssd 860 qvo 1tb and the max write speed im getting is 80mb/s

Can you advise if this is correct. I have another 6 HDDs and a 450W PSU is this what is causing the issue?

I suppose that depends on how you have hooked it up, and to what. And how you are getting data to it. With 6 other drives, you might be running into bandwidth issues in the system.

But it isn't a terrifically fast drive. Tom's own benchmark showed it topping out at 120MB/s under a realistic workload. Should be able to do short bursts at decent enough speed though.

I do have an old MOBO so that also might be the reason, doesnt look like any of my other HDDS have written more than 100mbs over the last 2 days.
