This is one of my 840 EVOs

An OS reinstall won't change the physical properties of the drive.
I think its just on its way out...old and tired.

One last thing, I use this ssd for watching streams/discord/whatsapp. Having it like that is still a bottleneck, right?

No, not really.
The Read speed is fine.
The Sequential Write performance is lacking.

Discord/WhatsApp/watchind videos? Not a concern at all.
