Slower shutdown and boot up time after overclock

Hey so i just recently overclocked my pc and didnt really feel like it improved my pc performance so i put everything back to default but then i saw that i had gotten a slower shutdown and boot up time i am not sure if it was because of the overclocking or something else but it happend after overclocking any idea how to fix this?

And my system was not damaged while trying out overclocking and temps on my gpu and cpu were normal and btw i have a SSD drive

Gotta tell us what you overclocked. CPU? GPU? RAM?

I overclocked my gpu and cpu but i have i7 8700 so i found out i cant overclock a non k processor but i put 125 on core clock and 400 on mem clock

So when you reverted your overclock settings did revert the settings for both your GPU and CPU? or did you only revert the settings for your CPU? and leave your GPU overclocked?

Yes i reverted my cpu and gpu to default settings

If temps are okay for you GPU and for your CPU and everything for them seems good. Since you reverted the OCs then I probably wouldn't suspect them to the cause of the this. Did you by any chance download any software before you OC'd your card and processor? Sometimes some software / applications can have an affect on bootup and shutdown times. How significant is the bootup and shutdown time?

However lets not rule out the GPU and CPU just yet.
