Question Small, very small audio pops every now and then ?

I bought a brand new desktop and every now and then i get these annoying audio pops in my headphones. I used different headphones, and the other audio port and the issue persists. Is there any way to fix it other than the 6 basic steps every other website has listed?

I've done all of those which include:

• updating audio drivers (there was no update)
• rollback (nothing happened)
• switching the format to CD quality
• disable exclusive mode

Try opening the volume mixer and mute different sources until you identify the one that's causing it (system sounds would be a good place to start). If this yields no results you might have a hardware issue.

And I will add the suggestion to double check that all connections, power, video, audio, peripherals are tightly in place.

Nothing loose/wiggly.

Especially around the I/O panel connection ports and the case panel connection ports.
