Hey everybody.
I have a Radeon HD 5970 (I have two, but I never use Crossfire)
When I open up CCC and go to the 3D Application settings I see two different AA options, not sure which one is better or which does what...
I have:

And:

I'd like to know which setting does what, which I should enable/disable etc.

Thank you!
Have a great day!

Those are actually settings for anti-aliasing (AA) and anisotropic filtering (AF) which are separate effects that can improve the appearance of computer graphics. The third box is the AA mode. Rather than reinvent the wheel, the first link that came up in google sums it up pretty well: http://www.tweakguides.com/Graphics_11.html

Many applications can control AA and AF themselves and let you set the AA and AF level from within the application. Usually I check the "Use Application Settings" box for both AA and AF and then configure my AA and AF settings in-game. You don't have to. If you don't check the box it will override the application's AA and AF settings and apply the settings you've set in CCC.

Morphological filtering is a form of AA, AMD talks about it here: http://sites.amd.com/us/game/technology/Pages/morphological-aa.aspx

Ah great! Thank you so much!
I got this working now, finally!
Would you recommend Multisample AA or Super-Sample AA?
I have a Radeon HD 5970 (two actually, but I hate crossfire), an i7 processor, and 16GB of RAM. I have an Alienware.

Thanks again!
